Orphan Black Season 3 Weekly Poster From BBC America's website(Image from: BBC America‘s Orphan Black website.)

The third season of BBC America’s science fiction drama, Orphan Black premiered on Saturday, April, 18th, 2015 with an episode titled, “The Weight Of This Combination.”  Written by: Graeme Manson.

Loose Episode Synopsis & (SISTER CLONE) Plot line:

When a Castor clone stirs up trouble in Sarah’s life, she soon learns that Helena is missing. Taken by the military (and Paul) thanks to Mrs. S and she actively begins her pursuit to bring her home. With Rachel out of commission, Delphine returns to take over her position at Dyad, but realizes that the position requires her to break things off with Cosima. However, things at Dyad for Delphine grow tense with the approaching arrival of Dyad’s cleaner, Ferdinand, played by the awesome James Frain. Ferdinand, as it turns out, happens to be close with Rachel, so Delphine proposes Sarah impersonate Rachel for his visit. Reluctant at first, Sarah finally agrees to do it on the condition that Delphine does all that she can to find Helena.

Meanwhile, Alison deals with mortgage payments and a snooty mom, Marcy, who is running for the school trustee. Classic, competitive Alison soon decides that she wants to run for school trustee to protect her children’s placement in the Glendale School District. When Ferdinand arrives at Dyad, Sarah/Rachel is dressed to impress (and intimidate) the sinisterly suave “cleaner.”

Sarah does such a good job at impersonating Rachel that the two agree to meet that evening at Rachel’s apartment to discuss Helena’s disappearance. Sarah/Rachel continues to push Ferdinand on tracking down Helena who grows suspicious of her intentions and questions her sudden interest in her sister clones when she was the one who wanted to get rid of them in the first place.

Reflection Post (#001)

Greetings,

I’d like to start by making a promise. A promise to whom ever may happen a pond my lonely, insignificant, WordPress blog within the depths of the internet, and a promise to myself. You see, I’ve recently noticed that with all of the writing I’ve been doing this past year in school, I’ve been neglecting doing personal and creative posts. I think it’s partly because when my assignments are finally completed, I’m often too tuckered out to write anything else. Then I get in a sort of mood and regret not making a short blog post, but that’s all on me. If I want to write, then I need to write. Regardless if I’ve just turned in a so and so number of pages for a term paper, or slammed out thirty plus pages for a script in two days. My craft is an art form that only grows in strength when I actually take the time and effort in to develop it. Another interesting thing I noticed today was that I immediately came home, from a long and slow day at work, and began to work on an assignment without giving my body or mind a few minutes to rest.  I’ve always been a workaholic and obsessive-compulsive, but it seems the challenges from this past year have set me off course somehow. I’m sick of being idle, passive and stoic. I want to find that path again and continue to move forward. So, with this first post of reflection I aim to be more active, creative and involving with what I publish to this wondrous, blank canvas.

Until next time,

Gia.

Sherlock Series 3: Episode One: The Empty Hearse

To all my Sherlock-fan family out there from all over the world, I know that some of us may not have seen the first episode of Series 3 so I will try my very best not to spoil anything with this blog post. And as it is not so much of a review as a reaction post I just want to share my thoughts with the rest of you seeing as the last episode for series 3 will air tomorrow (oh be still my aching and anxious heart.)

From each character stand point Shelock’s Empty Hearse episode was, in my opinion, an episode filled with a representationment (is that even a word?)  of all the fans feelings, reactions, the theories, dream and expectations all wrapped up together quite nicely. And with out giving too much away I want to emphasis again feelings and theories here.

And it was very comical throughout out with Anderson’s theories and his act as the vessel for all the Sherlock fans which was awesome!  The episode showed relationship development and growth as everyone tired to move on without Sherlock.  I think all the fans can agree that we like Marry in Johns life, who happens to be Martin’s actual wife, Amanda Abbington, which makes it even cuter to see the two of them together or at least I think so.

She seems like a perfect fit for him (and not just on screen, the two are married in real life.) When I come back to talk about episode 2 I’ll have more to say about the lovely Marry. And I think we can also, or will all agree that Molly and Sherlock’s ‘day of cases/mysteries’

Was on some level Sherlock’s way of bonding/a date as well as his way of as he said saying thank you to her and is that a hint of admiration for her we see in his eyes?

Love that with Molly we still see the love for him there but also a bit of strength like we saw in series 2 episode 3 with her and Sherlock in the lab, you know the bit.

“You look sad when you think he can’t see you.”

“But you can see me”

“I don’t count.”

Because, and this is just in my opinion again, that she knows him very well and it was the first time Sherlock seemed to realize that she did and he was thrown off guard and completely surprised which as we all know dose not happen very often and in my opinion Sherlock found it attractive, new and unfamiliar.

Oh and did I mention the cameo of Sharron Rooney ???

The lovely actress and comedian who stars in My Mad Fat Diary?!! Series 2 premieres  next month and I am soo excited for it as well.  Okay I have gone on a bit here and I wanted to make this a brief one. But before I go, I’ve put in a few caps below to pique you’re interests a bit more ^__^.

Because Anderson’s face is just funny/priceless

A big thanks to Kissthemgoodbye for the Screen Caps!
